Refund Policy

Scope

This Refund Policy applies to prepaid AI usage credits, one-time plans, and recurring subscriptions purchased for FloodGate. It forms part of the User Agreement.

Final-sale policy

Credits and subscriptions are non-refundable and all purchases are final, except where required by law. We do not offer discretionary refunds or exchanges for a change of mind, failure to cancel before renewal, unused time, unused plan allowance, or unused credits.

Used and unused credits

• Used credits are not refundable because the related AI service has already been supplied.
• Unused credits are also non-refundable. Purchased credits expire six months after purchase and cannot be exchanged for cash or transferred to another user.
• If applicable law requires a refund, we will remove the refunded credits or plan allowance from the account. If some of the purchase has already been consumed, the refund and account adjustment will follow the remedy required by law.

Signup and referral credits

A refunded wallet top-up no longer counts toward a signup-credit target. If the remaining successful top-ups fall below the target, FloodGate may reverse the unlocked signup credit and related invitee or inviter rewards. This adjustment is separate from any refund right required by law.

Subscriptions and cancellation

• Canceling a recurring subscription stops future renewals. It does not refund the current billing period except where required by law.
• You normally retain access through the end of the paid period after cancellation.
• For a Creem subscription, use the buyer portal linked from your purchase email or visit Creem Buyer Support.

Creem purchases

For purchases processed by Creem only, Creem is the authorized reseller and Merchant of Record. Creem handles payment-related buyer support and returns. To ask about a Creem charge, exercise a mandatory withdrawal right, or request a refund required by law, visit Creem Buyer Support. Creem reviews requests under its Refund Policy and Buyer Terms.

Other payment providers

Creem does not handle purchases made through another payment provider. For those purchases, write to hello@floodgate.dev and follow any dispute or support process shown by that provider.

Mandatory consumer rights

Nothing in this policy limits a refund, withdrawal, cancellation, replacement, or other remedy that applicable law does not allow us to exclude. Consumer rights differ by location. Access to digital services may begin immediately after purchase, and where the law permits, starting or consuming the service may affect a statutory withdrawal right when the required consent and acknowledgment were obtained.

Service not delivered or not as described

If a purchase was not delivered, was charged incorrectly, or the paid service is materially not as described, contact us promptly with the account email, order number, purchase date, and a short explanation. We will investigate and provide any remedy required by law. For Creem purchases, you may also contact Creem directly.

Duplicate, unauthorized, or fraudulent charges

Report a duplicate or unauthorized charge promptly. We or the Merchant of Record may suspend related credits or service access while investigating fraud, chargebacks, or payment abuse. This does not limit legitimate payment-dispute or consumer rights.

How approved refunds are paid

When a refund is required by law or otherwise approved by the Merchant of Record, it is normally returned to the original payment method. Processing time depends on the payment provider and financial institution. Taxes are handled under applicable law and the payment provider's process.
